Mt Baw Baw is a great destination for tobogganing with a Magic Carpet lift on it’s toboggan park – The only one with dedicated snowmaking for tobogganing! Prices start at $10 for toboggan lift pass and $15 including toboggan hire.

Join us at the Alpine Hotel Saturday nights during winter season for live music, DJs and special events or enter one of our pool competitions every Tuesday and Thursday nights. The Hotel opens late all week. The Bistro will open from 8am for breakfast serving a variety of meals all day through out the winter season with the kitchen closing around 9pm.

Mt Baw Baw Apartments are brand new fully renovated self contained timber cathedral ceilings private one and three bedroom apartments situated on the upper level of the Cascades complex. The lounges feature real wood fireplaces ready to go with wood supplied. Private fully renovated bathroom.The lounge has brand new furniture, new flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player. The kitchens are fully renovated and equipped with new oven, gas hotplates, new microwave oven and a new fridge. From your cosy upstairs lounge you can look out across the magnificent snow gums for that true alpine experience. Firewood is provided.

Rowdy and Warragul are Baw Baw’s resident dingoes. Rowdy (ginger fur) is an alpine/desert dingo cross. Warragul (light fur) is 100% Alpine Dingo. Come learn about the dingoes, the critically endangered Baw Baw Frog, Leadbeater’s Possum and other species of plants and animals that occupy the mountain in our brand new Dingo Resource Centre.
